John Anike Chinedu, 24 and Thai National Sawaros Nathawil, 34, were arrested with almost 9kg of crystal methamphetamine or “ice” stuffed into new handbags imported from China. The drugs were destined for sale in Bangkok and Pattaya. The duo have been charged with colluding in smuggling drugs into the country with intent to sell.
