Elikem proposed to Pokello at the 2014 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards when the two were on stage to present the award for Best Collaboration of the Year.
Pokello Nare, former Big Brother Africa (BBA) housemate and wife of Elikem Kumordzi has disclosed that she was peeved when Elikem proposed to her in public.
Speaking to Amanda Jissih on E-Talk, the Zimbabwean socialite, said she is naturally shy and that made her not enjoy the proposal.
“I was so angry when Elikem proposed to me in public. Aside from my public dealings, lots of people don’t know I’m the shy type. I wasn’t happy at all with the public proposal thing. I didn’t enjoy it,” she said.
Elikem met Pokello during their time in the Big Brother Africa 2013 house in South Africa. While Elikem was representing Ghana, Pokello was representing Zimbabwe. He proposed to her at the 2014 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards when the two were on stage to present the award for Best Collaboration of the Year.
They got married in June 2015 and currently have a baby.
