There was a pandemonium at mechanic village in Apo area of Abuja where Mr Ikechuekwu an Igbo trader was stab to death by okada rider. It was gathered that the problem started when Ikechukwu who was to pay the okada rider fifty naira fair paid forty naira. It was in the process the Okada rider brought out a knife and stabs the boy to death then set him ablaze instantly. The area later turned into a battle field as Igbo traders went on rampage to revenge the death.
Properties worth millions of naira were destroyed during the clash disrupting business activities brought. It took intervention of mobile policemen and Nigerian army to restore peace in the area. As at press time security men was seen patrolling the area.
