Artists draw so we can connect with their vision, to draw us in. Music producers do the same thing with their creativity, they seek to hypnotize our mass mind, to draw us in to their audio presentation and its unique mechanism.

Each school of talents roars above the waves like sirens of modern sound, drowning out competition with neither effort nor sweat.

1. Dorobucci, by Mavin All Stars

Well, Dorobucci needs no re-introduction. There is little to be achieved from a song that this song did not achieve. Everybody remembers where they were when they first heard Dorobucci.

"Revealed!! See Why Kiss Daniel Doesn’t Do Music Collaborations With Other Nigerian Artistes"

"Revealed!! See Why Kiss Daniel Doesn’t Do Music Collaborations With Other Nigerian Artistes"

Popular Singer, Kiss Daniel, has explained why he does not collaborate with other Nigerian artists and get featured in their songs.

Kiss Daniel, the Nigerian pop sensation, who is making waves with his new album “New Era” has talked about his reluctance to collaborate with and feature on other artistes’ songs.

It is known that apart from the remix of Woju that featured Davido and Tiwa Savage, Kiss Daniel has only featured on songs with his fellow label mates Dj Shabsy and SugarBoy.

Explaining the reason for this in a recent interview with NotjustOk, Kiss Daniel says, “I’m signed to a record label and the management for now only allows me to collaborate with in-house artistes Dj Shabsy and Sugarboy. Maybe later I’ll do songs with other artistes but for now it’s out of it”.

When asked if the ‘no collaboration’ rule has affected his relationship with other artistes, he said, “its not really affected my relationship with other artistes, because some do actually understand and others don’t. People have definitely approached me for collabos and I explain to them, the few that get it, they go out and say good things about me, for the others that don’t, I’m still hoping that they get it some day. Trust me I really want to do collaborations, I want to jump on a song with Reekado Banks, Falz because I think they are awesome, I want to do alot of stuffs”.
"Why should I start a record label just because Lil Kesh did - Dr. Sid [MUST READ]

"Why should I start a record label just because Lil Kesh did - Dr. Sid [MUST READ]

The Mavins signee made the disclosure in a recent interview with Leadership newspaper. When asked about his future plans and whether he intends to establish himself some time, he said: " People keep asking me this question. Because Lil Kesh has started a record label and now people think I should. .

Well, the truth is most artistes, who start record labels, want to be independent. And the question is why do they want to be independent? If you are in a situation that works, if every of your needs are met, if you have a great boss, your bank account is credited timely, everything is fine, why would you want to leave?

You might say, I want to have my own label. But that is not based on functionality. A record label should not be something you want to possess. It is business. And it is important to say that it is not beans [easy] to have a record label. It is not beans to take care of yourself, let alone other people.

Being in Mavin records has not hindered my progress in anyway; it has not stopped the money in my bank account. I give the record label what is due to it and the record label does its part. In the end, it is business. It is a partnership.

I do not have a problem with anyone opening their own label. If it works for them fine. I am not going to put myself in a situation just because everybody says or is doing so. What I have works."
